Now take note that we are thinking about the general stuff. You do not need to get to all the details in this step. That comes later on. For now though, think of the what you want to attain eventually. Once you have that planned out, you are ready to move on to the next step.

As I mentioned earlier, once you have the big picture sorted out, you may break it down into bite sized portions. A goal may seem really impossible to achieve, but that is only if you do not have baby steps that you can take. Break it down into smaller steps that you can take day by day. I like to break it down into milestones, which are significant targets that I would like to meet on the road to achieving the ultimate goal. When you have bite sized portions, you will find it a lot easier to move towards your goal.

Obviously, what good is it to have bite sized portions if you do not take action? You need to stay motivated if you want to achieve those milestones, and sometimes, that can be a challenge. Learn to discipline yourself to take the necessary steps. I like to encourage you to take baby steps consistently. Slow and steady wins the race.
